Vision Of Computers
Computer vision is a field of AI (artificial intelligence) that helps computers to derive meaningful information from digital videos, images, and other visual inputs. If AI helps computers to think, computer vision helps them to observe, see, and understand.
Moreover, it works as same as human vision, except humans, have an instant start. They train machines to perform the functions, but it has to do it in less time with data, algorithms, and cameras rather than retinas, optic nerves, and the visual cortex. Because a system trained to inspect products or processes for a minute, noticing issues, it can quickly exceed human capabilities.
Interestingly, experiments with computer vision started in the 1950s, and initially, it was used commercially to differentiate between handwritten and typed text by the 1970s, today the applications for computer vision have grown without any kind of bound.
How does computer vision work?
This technology guides the system in the way our brain works. But how does our mind solve visual object identification? One of the popular presumption states that our minds depends on patterns to decode individual objects.
